Serve At The SF-Marin Food Bank – Help Eradicate Hunger in Our Community

On Tuesday, March 12th noon – 2:00 pm, GGCSL will send a volunteer service team to the food bank warehouse in San Rafael. The food bank plans the work to be done for each group of volunteers as they find out how many will be coming.

A group of our experienced teachers who are also licensed prayer practitioners at GGCSL meet regularly with Rev. Mary to plan classes, review those that have completed, discuss class policies, and consider new curricula and offerings. These two-hour team meetings  happen on alternate months and are specifically for this team.

Rev. Marcia’s Celebration of Life will be held at the North Hollywood Church of Religious Science and on Zoom.

We have a wonderful, special opportunity to come together as a community in celebration.

On Sunday, February 25th Daniel Nahmod, one of our favorite musicians, will be here in person and will be doing a special concert at the Corte Madera Community Center for us following a potluck lunch. Tickets for this event are only $20 and they can be purchased after the Sunday Celebration this weekend.

If you’re out of the area, you can enjoy the concert with us, too! It will be privately live-streamed to our YouTube channel: Golden Gate Center for Spiritual Living. The price is the same, either way. If you purchase a ticket online, simply print out the thank you confirmation you receive after your purchase as your ticket, or take a screenshot of it and save it in your photos to show at the door. You’ll also receive the livestream viewing link. That way if you happen to be in town after all, you can choose to come and hear the concert in person!

A potluck lunch will follow the Sunday Celebration on the 25th. Sign up this Sunday for the type of dish or beverage you want to bring. Plan for it to serve 10, and bring it plated and ready to serve. (Do remember to label your dishes and serving utensils!)
