All actors who work professionally have agents who work to bring to the actor all of the opportunities that may result in being cast for a role. This morning the Actor in our scene from the one-act play A Star Is Born considers what an Agent can do for her.

In our lives, God is our agent, bringing to us numberless possibilities for our growth, unfoldment, happiness and success. Just as the Actor considers how much to pay her Agent, it’s up to us to determine how we will show our gratitude to God for all the blessings we receive. Rev. Dr. Lloyd Tupper, our Founding Minister, is here in person to illuminate our ideas of what it means to be born a star, as each human being is, and what a gift our personal agent is in our lives.
