“The Trust Walk” (03/10/24)

Rev. Mary Murray Shelton

Have you ever taken a “trust walk”? This is when another person leads you around blindfolded having you touch and explore things you can’t see. It’s important that the person leading make sure to keep you safe from stairs, doorways, curbs, and anything that might cause pain or injury. The follower has to let go of control to experience the wonder of what things sound and feel like when the visual sense is removed. Even the first time we do this, we tend to find our other senses are a little heightened and we notice things we might never have been aware of previously.

Today is an exploration of what might happen if we took a Trust Walk with Spirit leading the way. What would we need to release to do this?
