Skeptics and Doubters and Fears, Oh My! (9/13/20)

Roger Coryell

n the movie “The Wizard of Oz,” Dorothy, the Scarecrow and the Tin Man chant in the dark forest together to shore up their courage and keep going in spite of feeling afraid.

They make a rhythmic mantra of what they fear: “Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!” Then they DO encounter a lion–but not the kind they expected!

September’s theme is “Facing Our Fear.” Our title today is “Skeptics, and Doubters, and Fears, Oh My!”

Is it possible that we could actually use what scares us to keep us going? Let’s find out!
