Re-emerging implies that we’ve been away for a while and are finally coming back out of our exile or respite. Rising implies that we’re coming back stronger, fuller and with more energy and focus.

As we’ve begun to emerge from our long COVID exile we may or may not be feeling ready to “rise.” Some of us are plain tired out and others are still concerned about what’s coming next. Could be that we missed one step on our journey of return: that of genuine replenishment and renewal!

There’s no way to re-emerge and rise without taking time regularly to refill our tanks. So let’s let this morning be a way of doing that and of preparing to do it better than ever. Let refreshing love open the door to our hearts and minds this morning.
