It may sound strange for us to use this phrase because it seems as if we’re giving up all responsibility for creating the life we want. Actually, the letting go occurs as we take action and responsibility. We can’t control outcomes, but we can control our actions and our responses to outcomes.

Trusting Spirit means that we assume good regardless of the apparent appearance of the outcome. We never have the whole story. But we can choose to regard whatever happens as a blessing in progress, even when the temporary appearance isn’t pleasant.
