Being a place where God shows up sounds a little egotistical, or maybe like a super tall order. But when we remember that the Infinite is omnipresent, after all, who is it that’s really showing up all the time? Ram Dass used to say that all of Creation was just “God in drag.” Gets your attention, doesn’t it? That’s a thought-provoking way of reminding us that God is ALL there is. So the question isn’t really how to be that, it’s how to become conscious and intentional about how we show up so that God’s good is felt by the people we meet each day. Jesus said, “You are the light of the world.” But for anyone to know that, you’ve gotta get that light out from under the bushel basket where it’s hidden–including from you! Let’s think together today about some ways we can do that.
