Today we celebrate the confluence of three remembrances: the miracle of Passover, the Resurrection of Jesus, and the 43rd Anniversary of our spiritual community, Golden Gate Center for Spiritual Living. The first two are, of course, long-standing annual celebrations in memory of something extraordinary and miraculous occurring. These celebrations commemorate an event, but also are built upon previous traditions that were also sacred. The founding of our spiritual community was built on traditions of establishing such Centers in order to model and teach a new way of thinking and praying. Taking time yearly to remember and celebrate connects us to our shared past and re-affirms our commitment to what we believe.
