Can You Live in the Question? (03/07/21)

Rev. Mary Murray Shelton

“Not knowing” can be supremely distressing unless we find a way to let the question itself lead us into the answer, or until we’re able to be patient until more is revealed.

We can’t really be certain about anything. We make decisions and take action based on probabilities, habit, and familiarity that we mistake for certainty.

Given human uncertainty, why does Ernest Holmes, tell us in his writings to affirm certainty?

Let’s look at how these apparently opposite perspectives can complement and illuminate our sacred path.
