“A Strange Kind of Hero” (03.24.24)

Most heroes are ordinary people who find themselves in extraordinary circumstances. They didn’t know they were heroes until a situation arose in which they acted authentically and altruistically to help someone else. Usually this action is taken spontaneously without pondering the danger beforehand, so these heroes can be embarrassed by the fuss made over them. We all have it in us to be heroes in someone’s life at some time. Most likely we’ve done so already and never realized it. What if we chose to be a help wherever we are? Simply being willing to offer help can make all the difference in the world to someone. Let’s give it a try!
