Fr. Pierre Teilhard de Chardin wrote, “Joy is the infallible sign of the presence of God.” This idea leads us to today’s topic, Joy Is My Compass. When we let the presence of and experience of joy act as our compass, we move toward greater kindness, less fear, and a fine-tuned intuition as our guidance forward. Does what we think bring more joy? Does this choice move toward joy or away from it? This joy is a deeply felt contentment; a savoring of all the good in our lives.
