One of the things about being a mother is that we experience unexpected, funny, alarming, worrisome, frustrating and heart-warming surprises at the hands of our kids. So today’s exploration of Lessons From Mothers will include a bit of all this, with fond thoughts and memories that ring true in our own lives. Many dads and granddads will also relate to our focus, even though mothers (and grandmothers) are the focus of the morning.
We all had moms of our own, or folks who stood in for moms. Some were loving, fair, wise mentors and some weren’t. Even the best of moms make mistakes we’d prefer to forget! At the same time, there’s a lot of real “mom-wisdom” out there in the world. We’ll tap into a bit of that as well, as we consider the timeless spiritual Truths we’ve learned or discovered. Today we honor all the craziness that goes into mothering. Enjoy!
