Looking back at our own life path we can often see where we were mistaken, made errors in judgment or did some dumb things. These choices don’t define us, but they are our experience—paths we actually walked.
We may have walked so far on some of these that we’ve become lost and forgotten who we really are. The good news is that this is exactly what we’re supposed to do! A life journey is about getting lost, then finding our way back to our deep, true selves later in life when we’ve collected plenty of experience and learned from it.
The twist is when we’ve judged ourselves so harshly for our learning path of choices that we give up on finding our way home—or even believing there is a home to return to. It is never too late to find your way back. Never. Today we’ll explore all the ways this can occur.
