Event Series One Warm Coat Donation Event

One Warm Coat Donation Event

GGCSL is embarking on a community loving project. We’re joining in participation with One Warm Coat (https://www.onewarmcoat.org/) by collecting coats for adults and children at our Sunday Celebrations on October 1, 8, and 15. Gently worn coats should be clean and wearable, with no stains and no holes. New coats can also be donated.

Guided Meditation Service

Sometimes called guided imagery, with guided meditation you form mental images of places or situations that support relaxation and receptivity. You will use a variety of senses like sights, sounds and textures.

MEET UP AND CLEAN UP

• Saturday, November 11th from 10 am–Noon
• Meet at the Target parking lot in San Rafael.
• We provide trash bags, trash grabbers, gloves and sandwiches.
• Enjoy the Bay views while getting some exercise!
• Bring a friend, water, and prepare to have some fun!

Fall Practitioner Retreat

The gift of our Fall Retreat is a powerful Transformational Breathing* workshop, facilitated by special guest, Sophia Arise. Sophia is a Certified Transformational Breath Facilitator and trainer who provides a calming, supportive and accepting presence. She is dedicated to sharing the healing power of the breath, while continuing her own self-development, spiritual growth and education. To learn more about this work, you're welcome to visit https://www.transformationalbreath.com/.

In addition to the Breathwork Workshop, we are overjoyed by the opportunity to present and celebrate our 3 Emeritus Practitioners:  Gail Durkin, Dana Ewell and Rick Walt, as well as welcoming into the circle, newly-licensed, Karen Frost, RScP!

Food Bank Opportunity

Volunteering at the Marin Food Bank is a fun opportunity to connect with others from GGCSL, meet other volunteers and give back to our greater Marin community. We have a shift coming up on November 14th from noon to 2pm. Please contact Ellen Nicosia by November 7th if you want to participate: 415.720.0225 or ellennicosia@gmail.com.
